Downtown Muncie, Indiana has potential but it needs draw as well as a connection to Ball State. This building would be a new hub for students and residents alike. The structural, translucent “inverted pyramids” bring natural light into the space and collect and store water in an underground cistern. The green roof benefits the building greatly because it doubles as a space people can walk on and interact with. At night the “inverted pyramids“ light up and transform it into an even more interactive experience while making the site safe to visit at night.

The model was built completely by hand.
