Small, but growing...
I am constructing a coffee table made from an old window. Currently, the legs are a pair of Rubbermaid boxes so I am in the process of designing legs for it. The paint is chipping so I will most likely scrape it off and replace it.
Lately I have been especially interested in giving materials a new life so I decided to find an unwanted object and reuse it. I found an old door and decided to make it into a desk. I cut it down, connected 31" pin legs to the bottom, and put a glass top on it. I would like this table to be adaptive so I might paint, add to it, or leave it exactly how it is.
Interface was my first experience with furniture design. It was designed and fabricated for a NYC competition open to designers throughout the Americas. The chair is sit-able, stack-able, and group-able. The 3D model was created in Rhinoceros, rendered with V-Ray, and fabricated.
